Sooo… Life happened and the last two weeks have been non-stop and hectic. I’m almost ready to start working on the animal study and dialogue piece.
My goal is to have both animations posted within the next two weeks!

I’ve been busy packing things and cleaning things. Even so, I’m working on a couple of animations that I will be posting here pretty soon.
So within the next week I will be working on a short dialogue animation as well as an animal study animation. I will post them after I’m happy with them. Exciting!
Today was pretty busy so I did a simple timing test with the bouncing ball. No cleanup, just played around with timing.
Before I sift through some boxes today, I thought I would animate a simple pendulum motion. Starting on another quick test tonight.
For tonights quick test, I’ve decided to animate a simple arm motion. I didn’t spend much time at all cleaning it up and polishing the curves, but I think it turned out pretty nice for a quick test.
So, everyday this week I’m going to complete 1-2 simple ball bounces, or 1 complex ball bounce (possibly more or less, depends on how busy my day is). It’s nice to revisit this exercise from time to time.
Here are two quick bounces I did today after doing a bit of reading.
I’m doing a three-part series of 1-3 second(s) or less animations within the next few weeks. Starting with a ball bounce, golf swing, and then a fall to land. Then I have a couple of ideas for some dialogue pieces I want to work on. Exciting stuff!
Here’s the first of many animation test and practice clips I will be working on from now on. Since my website is also a blog, why not show the world my improvement over time!
